About
I was born in Lagos, Nigeria. I moved to Atlanta, Georgia at the age of 11 where I attended middle and high school before moving to California for college. I attended University of California, Davis where I received my B.S in Managerial Economics and later attended law school in Maryland at the University of Baltimore where I received my JD.
I started my law career while in Law School in Baltimore, where I clerked in a family law from my first semester, in 2017, all the way through my last semester. I also participated in the Family Law clinic, and was able to represent clients during this time. Upon moving to Houston in 2020, I also clerked at a few family law firms until I took the bar and became licensed to practice. During this time, I was able to familiarize myself with Texas law and I have been interacting with clients since. I have been able to gain valuable experience, including work related to motion practice, discovery, mediations, hearings, and client communication and management. I have worked on variety of family law matters in my time as a clerk and associate, and I have experience dealing with divorces, child custody matters, modifications, adoptions, and name changes.
I am married to my lovely husband, Jide, and we have a lovely daughter, Safiyyah. In our free time, we like to try new restaurants around town and travel. We also enjoy spending time with our friends and family.
